Installed Parts Warranty — 36 Months / 36,000 Miles
Most parts installed by Elvis Auto Service are covered for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. If a covered part fails due to a manufacturer defect, we’ll replace the part and the labor at no cost to you. Some exclusions or limited warranty of parts and/or services apply and listed below.
General Warranty Requirements
To obtain warranty service:
- The vehicle must be returned to Elvis Auto Service during business hours.
- The original repair order or proof of purchase is required.
- The customer must stop driving the vehicle immediately once a problem is detected.
- Warranty work must be performed only by Elvis Auto Service.
- Warranty is not transferable if the vehicle is sold.
Customer Responsibilities
To maintain warranty coverage, the customer must:
- Follow all maintenance intervals recommended by the vehicle manufacturer
- Keep receipts or records of maintenance performed elsewhere
- Notify Elvis Auto Service immediately if a covered part shows signs of failure
- Allow Elvis Auto Service to inspect and diagnose before repairs
What the Warranty Does NOT Cover
This warranty does not cover any additional costs associated with a failure, including:
- Rental cars
- Towing
- Lost time or wages
- Transportation, food, or lodging
- Property damage
- Any inconvenience caused by the loss of vehicle use
LIMITED WARRANTY SECTION
Major Component Warranty (Engines, Transmissions, etc.)
Engines, transmissions, differentials, and other major assemblies may carry a separate manufacturer or supplier warranty. Those warranties must be followed exactly to stay valid.
- Break-In Requirements : Break-in guidelines provided by the manufacturer or supplier must be followed. (Failure to follow those instructions may void the warranty.)
- Differentials: Repaired or rebuilt differentials are covered by 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first.
Electronics & Module Warranty
- Modules and electronic components (ECM, PCM, BCM, TCM, EBCM, HVAC, infotainment, communication systems) are covered by: 12 months / 12,000 miles
- Commercial-use vehicles may have reduced or excluded coverage depending on manufacturer policy.
Brake Service Limited Warranty
- Brake pads, shoes, rotors, and drums installed by Elvis Auto Service are warrantied against manufacturer defects for: 12 months / 12,000 miles
This warranty does NOT cover:
- Additional brake system parts (hydraulics, ABS, steering, suspension, driveline components)
- Labor required to diagnose or repair issues not caused by a defective part
- Damage caused by overheating, contamination, or improper use
Tire Warranty (Passenger Cars + Light Trucks)
Tires are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty only. Coverage does not apply to:
- Commercial-use vehicles, delivery fleets, ride-share, or rental vehicles
- Misalignment, improper inflation, abuse, neglect, off-road use, racing, impact damage, or fire Elvis Auto Service will only install tires that meet OEM vehicle specifications.
Exclusions (Not Covered Under Warranty)
Parts or Services Not Eligible
- Customer-supplied parts – even if Elvis Auto Service authorized customer to be able supply part(s)
- AC leak dye tests
- Clutches
- Custom exhaust
- Custom wheels
- CVT transmissions (unless otherwise stated by supplier)
- Fluids and filters
- Gaskets and seals
- Light bulbs
- Wiper blades
- Used or salvage parts
- High-performance or aftermarket performance parts
- Diagnostics or repairs performed anywhere else
Vehicle Damage Caused By:
- Accidents, fire, theft, vandalism, flooding, impact, or objects striking the vehicle
- Racing, towing beyond rated capacity, off-roading, overloading
- Vehicle modifications, lift/lower kits, performance alterations
- Tampering with emission systems
- Altered or non-functional odometer (mileage can’t be verified)
- Improper or contaminated fuel/fluids
- Driving through deep water
- Abuse, neglect, or improper maintenance
Maintenance & Wear Items (Not covered under ANY warranty)
- Brake linings / friction material
- Clutch friction components
- Filters: oil, air, fuel, cabin
- All fluids
- Oil changes
- Tire rotations
- Wiper blades
Adjustment & Maintenance Services – Adjustments are considered normal maintenance and are not covered by warranty:
- Wheel alignments
- Ride height adjustments
- Wheel balancing
- Parking brake adjustments
- Brake shoe adjustments
- Clutch adjustments
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Custom Wheels – Required Lug Nut Re-Torque
New custom or mag wheels must be re-torqued:
- After the first 25 miles
- Again at 100 miles
- We’ll re-torque them free of charge, no appointment required.
- Failure to re-torque can create a serious safety hazard.
- Elvis Auto Service is not responsible for damage caused by failure to re-check torque.
Aftermarket Add-On Equipment Disclaimer
If Elvis Auto Service installs aftermarket video, navigation, cruise control, or similar devices, coverage only applies to the installation itself. Elvis Auto Service is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or damages resulting from:
- Improper use of aftermarket equipment
- Failure to follow manufacturer instructions
- Modifications made after installation
